About Rigoletto

Soft lighting and a relaxed hum of conversation set the tone before the arrival of any dish, enhancing the intimate feel that suffuses the space. Glimpses of the Rigoletto interior through various online photos suggest a blend of rustic charm and modern simplicity, inviting visitors to focus on the experience rather than distraction. The staff maintain a measured attentiveness, which complements the quiet atmosphere without ever becoming intrusive. Occasional moments of delay between courses hint at a kitchen mindful of pacing, allowing the rich flavors to settle, though this may not suit diners on tight schedules.

When exploring the Rigoletto menu, one encounters a thoughtful selection that emphasizes seasonal ingredients and regional traditions. Dishes are often layered with surprising textures and balanced acidity, adding depth to familiar profiles without overwhelming them. Reviews have noted the standout pastas and the nuanced seasoning of the main courses, where each bite seems carefully considered. However, some portions skew modest in size, possibly reflecting a preference for quality over quantity that could affect those seeking a heartier meal. Drink pairings, while not exhaustive, complement the food well enough to round out the dining experience.

The reputation of this restaurant has sparked curiosity, and online commentary reveals a consistent appreciation for the attentive service and comfortable ambiance, despite occasional critiques about pricing. The charm found in the unpretentious presentation makes Rigoletto a place where food lovers may linger longer than planned. For anyone consulting Rigoletto reviews, the consensus points to a balanced blend of innovation and tradition, capturing the essence of its setting without becoming overly trend-driven. As a dining option, it holds its own quietly yet confidently among Parma’s often bustling restaurant landscape.

Very good Italian restaurant. It's good if you book a table in advance, otherwise you won't be able to get a free table.

Wonderful experience. Excellent food and wines, including by the glass. Great welcome from co-owner. Excellent service. On a short visit to Parma, we went for lunch -we enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day. Gets busy, so advisable to book in adance.

We wanted to have Parma in Parma and we’re so honoured to have eaten in Fabrizio and chef Antonella’s amazing restaurant. The atmosphere was so great. Food was the best. The tortolini, the Parma ham, the special meat, the red Lambrusco, the cheese, the taste was out of this world and the hosts, Fabrizio and chef Antonella were so so caring, attentive and amazing people. Thank you for your hospitality!

Undeniably the best food I've ever tasted anywhere in Italy. Both the beef main course and semifredo dessert were absolutely scrumptious. The front-of-house husband was gracious and full of charm. His wife, the cook you can see on the eclectic portraits of the couple dotted around the trattoria. Wonderful, wonderful eatery.

Overall ok, food tasty but not amazing. Service could have been more attentive and friendly, we arrived when they just opened and it felt like we intruded the space not very welcome. One of the glasses we were given had lipstick on it

An exquisite, soulful restaurant. We ate here on our first day in Parma on this trip and in retrospect should have just come back every day. The passion for quality and love for their many regular customers on the part of the husband and wife who run the place is palpable. The food is refined yet traditional, the wines well chosen and the service impeccable. A jewel of a restaurant even in a city and region strewn with gems.

I recently visited this place and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food. I tried the Homemade Pasta with Lemon and the Pasta with Sausage and Peppers. Both dishes were exceptional, bursting with fresh flavors and perfectly cooked. The combination of ingredients was delightful, and the homemade pasta made a noticeable difference. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and delicious pasta dishes.
